What are THERAPEUTIC GROUPS?

Therapeutic groups are an excellent way to address various emotional and behavioral issues, as well as interpersonal relatedness, socialization, and improved functioning in small community settings.

Both the structure of the group and the opportunity for safe expression through art media will offer participants the chance to safely address regulation, impulse control, delay of gratification, planning, organizing, frustration tolerance, identity development and social skills.

A range of materials will be used including, but are not limited to: drawing, painting, sculpture, building and tinkering, sensory play, collage, clay, and print-making.
